Wednesday May 6th is our 4th Annual "Massive Day of Service".
Our Gr. 7 and 8 classes meet in the cafeteria and assemble 5000 sandwiches consisting of ham and / or cheese.
Our Grade 9 class participates in a Health and Wellness Day where they attend various seminars dealing with mental health, body image, respect and bullying.
Our grade 10 and 11 classes participate in Service Day. They go out in pairs to do various chores for the seniors in our community. The entire school is expected to bring in various items to be delivered to social outreach programs in the city. We are collecting peanut butter, jam, mayonnaise, tuna, toiletries and diapers.
Our grade 12 class then packs all of these materials and visit 5 different locations for delivery.
Delivery trucks from Shepherd's of Good Hope and the Ottawa Food Bank are also loaded in the morning for delivery.

This year's big day involves 15 buses, 2 delivery trucks and the entire school.
