St. Mark Catholic High School is privileged to have its own Chapel. The Chapel is the focus of the spiritual character of the school and is used for private prayer and class liturgical celebrations. Our Chapel is a warm, peaceful refuge where students, staff, and parents are invited to pray, reflect, and rejoice.

Our school's current Chaplaincy Leader is Maureen Dufour.
Our school community and every student and staff member has gifts for the building up of this community. As part of the community, the chaplain works closely with others in the school to assist in the general education of students within a spiritual framework. Celebration and service, two key elements of the spiritual life, are integral to the life of our Catholic school. The chaplain, in conjunction with students and staff, assists in the animation of these areas. The chaplain is available to both the students and staff through retreats and spiritual counseling.
Board Spiritual Theme
When he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went to the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:
'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour.'
And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down.
