There was a Parent Information Meeting for all parents of Grade 6 students who are interested in having their children attend St. Mark next year on Thursday, February 29th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. You may view the presentation here.

The Ottawa Catholic School Board approved the New Riverside South Elementary School attendance boundary and associated boundary revisions to St. Jerome and St. Leonard elementary schools and St. Francis Xavier and St. Mark high schools.  The approved changes come into effect with the opening of the new school, currently scheduled for September 2024.

Summary of Changes

A  summary of the recommendations which were approved, are as follows:

1. The New Riverside South elementary school will open as a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 facility with a full complement of grades.

2. JK to Grade 6 students attending St. Jerome and St. Leonard elementary schools, who reside within the approved New Riverside South elementary school boundary, will be relocated in a full block move to the new school.

The Ottawa Catholic School Board has approved the new Findlay Creek Elementary School attendance boundary and associated boundary revisions to St. Bernard, St. Thomas More and St. Mary elementary schools. Consequently, the existing boundaries of St. Francis Xavier, St. Mark and St. Patrick's high schools are also affected.
