Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),

Welcome to all grade 7 students and new grade 8-12 students.  We are looking forward to starting the new school year with our St. Mark Open House and BBQ.  The Open House will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. This is an opportunity for all new students to come in and tour the school.

At 11:30 a.m., please visit our Cafetorium Gymnasium to find out the student’s locker number.  Peer helpers will be available to give tours of the school at this time. Students can put any items in their locker provided that they have a lock. Students are also invited to enjoy a BBQ lunch between 12pm and 1pm.

In addition, we are making the transition to the new school year easier for our Grade 7 students. Students who pay their student fees ($25 per student, $50 per family) and Physical Education fees ($45 per student) online prior to August 25th, 2023, will have the opportunity to pick up  their phys-ed t-shirt on August 30th. Please read the Grade 7/8 PE newsletter for more information and forms to be completed.

Please click on School Cash Online to pay all fees or visit our school website for the link to school cash online. We strongly encourage you to do this as soon as possible on or after August 14th, 2023.  Students new to the Ottawa Catholic School Board can register for our online payment system in a few easy steps. Please do this before August 25th, to ensure that processing goes through.

Students will not be able to pick up these materials any other day this week. Timetables for students who cannot attend on August 30th will be available on by the evening of September 1st. Lockers will b eassigned on the first day of school.

School administration, teachers as well as our student Peer Helpers will be available to answer any questions you or your child may have regarding the new school year. We look forward to meeting you on August 30th!!
